Quilts, Wall-Hangings, and Babies

It has been a busy January and February so far. Got several projects over Advent in the MSQC Countdown to Christmas aka Jenny’s Box. I was able to complete one of them – the Quilt More Worry Less Wall Hanging and more will be completed in time, just haven’t decided when yet. Might try my hand at the hand-embroidery project next.

For donation to Project Linus, I completed a second Baby Bargello quilt and have a 3-Yard Bundle with some Sesame Street Fabric and now to pick the pattern to use — am thinking of the Boxes and Bows pattern that they had has a free download several months ago or Landslide from the Quilts in a Jiffy book.

Today was the baby shower for my cousin and his wife. I was able to make them this cute quilt.

Have several other projects in the works – including painting and rearranging the sewing room. My husband has started to prep some plywood that we will wrap with batting then with fabric to make a custom ironing board.

That’s about all from here. Lent starts next week — Have a Blessed Lent!
